Situated on the shore of Kaunas reservoir, the Kaunas yachts club is packed with action. Sunset on a boat, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing, stand up paddleboarding, and even movie screenings – all of the above and more is available here.

The biggest man-made body of water in Lithuania – Kaunas Reservoir, also called the Kaunas Lagoon or even the Kaunas Sea – is adored by both active travellers and lazier holidaymakers. There are many fascinating objects and landmarks located in regions around the Kaunas lagoon, and a helpful app “Around the Lagoon” can assist you in exploring them. Meanwhile, those who decide to spend their free time in the city can find plenty of activities in Kaunas “Žalgiris” yacht club.

Birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor parties, as well as any personal or business occasions, can be celebrated on water. Our friends at “Party Cruiser” offer a variety of options for that. You can rent a boat packed of fun activities for a celebration or simply sail out to watch a romantic sunset with a loved one or a group of friends. The spot of “Party cruiser” located at the yacht club is always open for anyone who wants to say hello and find out more.

There’s action in the spot every day of the week. Monday evenings are dedicated to cinema. At the screenings, you can warm up at a bonfire, try out a paddleboard and of course catch a boat for a swim. Tuesdays are reserved for girls who wish to learn wakeboarding with the help of a team of “Party Cruiser”. On Thursdays, lessons are available to everyone interested.

The “Party Cruiser” speedboat is made especially for water sports. A suspension rope is attached high up on a wake tower; hence, newbies manage to find their balance easier while ones with experience can jump higher. Another water sports option available on Thursdays is wakesurfing.

Lastly, on Sundays, you can hop on a boat which will take you on a tour to Žaisos bay also called by the name of Royal Peacock bay. You will be sailing by Pažaislis monastery, possibly the most beautiful baroque complex in the region, as well as Pakalniškės hill fort and Girionys – a district filled with nature. Once you get to the bay on the other side of the lagoon, you’ll have time to take a stroll next to Žaisos stream eventually finding a famous tiny waterfall. By the way, on the following Sunday, everyone is invited to sail and spectate the F2 championships that’ll be held in the Kaunas Reservoir.
