The government of Lithuania and France have sign an agreement on joint film production, aimed at creating more favourable conditions for film producers to work on joint projects.

According to the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture, Lithuanian film producers will be able to ask for funding via a French partner from the French National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC).

The deal was on Monday signed in Paris by Lithuanian Culture Minister Šarūnas Birutis and French Minister of Culture and Communication Fleur Pellerin.

During their meeting, the minister also discussed bilateral relations and prospects for further communication.
