Vilnius public transport drivers to end their strike

Drivers working at the public transport company Vilniaus viešasis transportas (VVT) will end their strike on Thursday, Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Šimašius has announced on Facebook.

“Good news. Drivers’ strike is stopping. I thank both sides, leadership of VVT and the trade union, for eventually reaching an agreement,” the mayor wrote.
