Seimas Speaker says Liberals Movement ‘on the right track’ as it wins 9 mayoral seats

Seimas Speaker Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, leader of the Liberals Movement, is very pleased with her party winning 9 mayoral seats which shows that the Liberals are “on the right track.”

“The Liberals Movement will have 9 mayors! The second round of the elections confirmed the good results, we entered the starting line with 7 mayors (6 elected in 2019, Pagėgiai joined later), today it is clear that we have 9. We have a woman mayor again, a wonderful spurt by Nijolė Guobienė in Zarasai!” Čmilytė-Nielsen wrote on her Facebook Sunday night.
