Seimas speaker: Lithuania supports Sweden’s determination to continue assisting Ukraine

Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen on Thursday took part remotely in the opening event of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The speaker said that, when Europe faces aggression and authoritarian regimes, the European Union is as strong as its member states can agree on democratic values.
