Riflemen’s Union to receive increased funding of EUR 10.8mn in 2023

Next year, the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union will be allocated EUR 10.8 million in efforts to adequately equip the growing organisation which significantly contributes to national defence preparedness and civil resistance, the National Defence Ministry announces.

The changed geopolitical situation has prompted an increasing number of newcomers joining the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union, a state-supported civilian paramilitary organisation, according to the ministry.
