Lithuanian Education Minister Algirdas Monkevicius proposes allowing primary and secondary school students to return from distance learning to the classrooms at least for two weeks.

"Currently, general education schools are working remotely, but we are considering returning to schools for at least two weeks," Monkevicius told a news conference on Friday.

"We are looking at allowing primary grades to return from May 25, and general education students from June 1," he added.
