President’s adviser does not think Lithuania is safer than a year ago

Speaking about Lithuania’s national security situation in 2022, Kęstutis Budrys, chief national security adviser to President Gitanas Nausėda, says the likelihood of an armed conflict in Lithuania has decreased.

Yet he disputes some politicians’ assessment that the country is now safer than it was at the beginning of 2022.
