President says that destroyed Russian tank on display in Vilnius exposed Kremlin’s supporters

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda says that a Russian tank T-72B, which was destroyed by Ukraine and is now displayed near Cathedral Square in Vilnius, has exposed supporters of the Kremlin.

“It was needed to reveal ‘vatniks’ who are now visiting [the site], bringing flowers and organising various prayers. It is great to find out and see who is who in Lithuania. Whereas the tank is a reminder of Ukraine’s struggle and not only of the struggle but of Ukraine’s success, too. It is a reminder of how bravely Ukraine is fighting this war,” Nausėda told reporters during a visit to Palanga town.
