Police open four pre-trial investigations into election irregularities

The Central Electoral Commission (VRK) announces that the police have reinforced their patrol forces for the municipal elections and have launched four pre-trial investigations so far as the last early voting day ends.

Police Commissioner General Renatas Požėla Thursday met with the VRK Head Jolanta Petkevičienė and representatives of the White Gloves, politically independent NGO which organises monitoring of elections in Lithuania.
