New deputy defence minister to assume office this week

Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas has announced that a new deputy minister will be revealed on Thursday and assume duties the next day. Anušauskas added that another deputy would join the Ministry of National Defence in early March.

“Tomorrow there will be an announcement about the first [deputy minister] who will start work on 24 February. (&) Another deputy minister will assume office on 7 March,” Anušauskas told the news agency ELTA on Wednesday.
