Nausėda: to replace a minister you need a better alternative

President Gitanas Nausėda doubts that a cabinet reshuffle would be the best option in the current situation. Although the opposition aimed to have several ministers replaced and launched interpellations last year, yet the head of state questions whether there are any suitable successors.

“In fact I have always believed that people are not hopeless, ministers are not hopeless. It happened so that we indeed had much criticism for certain ministers. These were very difficult pandemic years,” Nausėda said in an interview to TV3 recently.
