Nausėda: Russia can create its own security guarantees overnight

President Gitanas Nausėda says French President Emmanuel Macron’s comments on security guarantees for Russia have provoked many strange reactions, with some other EU leaders keen to hear his opinion on the comments.

“In informal conversations, in the last meeting, some colleagues came up to me and asked me what I thought of French President Macron’s latest statement,” Nausėda told reporters after the European Council in Brussels on Thursday.
