Nausėda opposes cannabis decriminalisation

President Gitanas Nausėda opposes legislative amendments considered in parliament that would decriminalise possession of small quantities of cannabis.

He said in an interview to the public radio LRT on Friday that Lithuania was losing the fight against drug use and he was not persuaded by arguments aimed at loosening current restrictions.
