Nausėda: it is vital for Lithuania to shift to universal defence

President Gitanas Nausėda says that considering the geopolitical situation, the principle of universal defence is vital for Lithuania.

“We must realise that under current geopolitical circumstances, it is very important for Lithuania to shift to the principle of universal defence, to rapidly increase the trained military reserve,” Nausėda told reporters Thursday.
