Nausėda: EU needs to be ready to effectively fight irregular migration

On Thursday, President Gitanas Nausėda met with European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson to discuss the problems posed by irregular migration and possible solutions to them, said the president’s press service.

The president thanked the commissioner for her personal contribution and efforts during the unprecedented irregular migration crisis that Lithuania faced in 2021.
