MP: SocDems will not support 2023 budget

Social Democratic MP Rasa Budbergytė says members of the Social Democratic Party (LSDP) will not vote for the 2023 state budget because it is socially unjust. Parliament will vote on the budget on Tuesday.

“The budget may be indeed called a survival budget. Social Democrats will not support this budget because it is socially unfair as our proposals were ignored to increase the tax-exempt amount of income and equate it to the minimum monthly salary,” stated the politician.
