“If there were such proposals, I will not support them. We had introduced certain regulations, but there were vaccines, there was everything. (&) Now the virus is different, we have learned to live with it. Yes, we may have to wear masks, but to tell you the truth, I do not see a possibility of talking about some kind of restriction on economic activities,” Armonaitė told the news website 15min.lt.

The minister added that the government also would not consider another lockdown, especially as there are other problems caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, like the situation with the energy sector.

As reported, 1,532 new COVID-19 cases were detected on Wednesday and 4 people died. There are now 20,138 active cases and 126 people are being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals.
