MEP Uspaskikh to run for Vilnius city councillor

The Labour Party has approved its list of candidates for the Vilnius city council which includes Viktor Uspaskikh, a member of the European Parliament. He is number two on the list, lrytas.lt said on Friday.

This was confirmed by Ieva Kačinskaitė-Urbonienė, the party’s candidate for Vilnius mayor, saying she is glad that Uspaskikh decided to join the party’s list for the city council and “thus strengthen it”.
