"All healthcare workers combatting the dangerous coronavirus will receive bonus payments amounting to 15 percent of their salaries," he said at a news conference.
Under the respective decree signed by the minister, bonus payments will be available throughout the quarantine period.
Coronavirus patients are currently treated at Vilnius' Santaros Hospital, the Clinical Hospital of Kaunas, Klaipeda University Hospital, and the national hospitals in Siauliai and Panevezys.
Some 345 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lithuania so far.
