Liudas Mažylis, professor at Vytautas Magnus University, and Andrius Kubilius, a former prime minister and now lawmaker, top the list of European Parliament election candidates of the Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD) after receiving the most preference votes from the conservative party's members last weekend.

MP Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė was ranked third, followed by Rasa Juknevičienė, a former defense minister and now lawmaker, in fourth place and Audronius Ažubalis, a former foreign minister and now MP, in fifth position, based on preliminary figures provided by the party.
