LLRA leader outraged by party’s loss in mayoral elections in Vilnius district

MEP Waldemar Tomaszewski, leader of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania-Christian Families Alliance (LLRA-KŠS), claims that campaigning against the party’s candidate took place in runoff voting of mayoral elections and that is why Waldemar Urban lost the race.

“The majority of parties – both left and right, centre and all parties in general – are uniting against us. The heads of state, the prime minister, the Seimas speaker, are likely abusing office and campaigning so that people would not vote for us in this constituency,” Tomaszewski told reporters Sunday night.
