Lithuanian MEP appeals to EC saying Nord Stream 2 violates EU law

On Thursday, MEP Gabrielius Landsbergis addressed Maroš Šefčovič, Vice President of the European Commission in charge of the Energy Union, and Margrethe Vestager, European Commissioner for competition, saying that the planned Nord Stream 2 project contravenes primary energy security objectives of the European Union (EU) and the Third Energy Package.
