The Lithuanian government decided on Wednesday to respond to the country's request, received on December 29, to sell it vaccines developed by BioNTech-Pfizer.

According to the Health Ministry, Lithuania currently has about 523,818 doses of the vaccine.

Another 2.418 million doses are to be delivered to Lithuania in the first half of this year, including over 349,000 in January.
