Lithuania records largest fall in road deaths in EU last year

The European Commission has announced preliminary data on road fatalities for 2022, showing the largest decreases of over 30% in Lithuania and Poland.

Lithuania recorded a 35% annual decrease, while Poland reduced the number of deaths on its roads by 34%. Denmark observed a 23% fall in road fatalities.
