The number of new cases is the highest since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 253 people have died from the coronavirus so far. The number stood at 244 yesterday. 94 coronavirus-infected people have died of other causes, three more than yesterday.
The country currently has 24,284 active cases and 7,247 recoveries.
Some 91,202 people are now in isolation.
A total of 1,162,033 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in Lithuania so far, including 15,064 over the past 24 hours.
