Liberal Movement’s leader is optimistic about municipal and mayoral election outcome

Leader of the Liberal Movement Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament, is optimistic about the outcome of 2023 municipal and mayoral elections after polling stations closed on Sunday at 8 p.m.

She hopes that the Liberal Movement will win more seats in municipal councils in major cities this year compared with 2019 and will retain the identical number of mayoral posts.
