The minister believes that the organisation should distance itself from the report.

“It is disgraceful, truly disgraceful. It is as if a veil casts over Russia’s war. If this organisation or people working there have decency, they should distance themselves from these findings because it will leave a stain for the future,” Landsbergis told the news agency ELTA.

“It is very regrettable that this reputational blemish will remain for a long time on the organisation, which many in the world relied on,” the minister added.

Although after the publication Amnesty International apologised for the report causing “distressed and anger”, but it nonetheless stood by its statements.
