Landsbergis: emerging geopolitical changes affect security situation not only in Europe, but also in Middle East

On 4 November, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, who attended the Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE. The meeting focused on bilateral political and economic cooperation, and topical issues of the Gulf region, reports the MFA.

Landsbergis also discussed the situation in Lithuania’s neighbourhood – the emerging challenges in the face of Russia’s war against Ukraine. The foreign ministers also discussed the UAE’s possible role in addressing the consequences of the war.
