King and Queen of Sweden will be on a state visit to Estonia next week

Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden will pay a State Visit to Estonia on 2-4 May on the invitation of President Alar Karis. During their time in the country, they will visit Tallinn and Tartu, the Estonian presidency reports.

The visit underscores the close friendship between Estonia and Sweden, all the more so given that it is taking place during the 50th anniversary of King Carl XVI Gustaf’s accession to the throne.
