Group of lawmakers submits motion to impeach MP Gražulis

A group of lawmakers has registered a motion to impeach MP Petras Gražulis for grossly violating the Constitution and breaching the oath of a member of the Seimas as it was determined that he voted for another legislator last autumn.

The proposal to launch the impeachment procedure was put forward by Freedom Party’s MP Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius on behalf of a group of legislators. They proposed establishing an ad hoc parliamentary commission tasked with providing findings whether impeachment of MP Gražulis should proceed.
