The Cabinet allowed six Belarusians and one Ukrainian to come in late August for a conference dedicated to Konstantinas Kalinauskas (Konstanty Kalinowski), one of the commanders of the 1863-1864 uprising against Tsarist rule.

It also granted entry to a lecturer from the US and her child at LCC International University's request, and allowed the chief technology officer of an international company, an Indian national, to come as part of her agreement with Klaipeda Science and Technology Park.

Seventy-five Polish nationals, ten Czech nationals, a Spaniard and a Croatian were given the green light to arrive in Lithuania to perform tests at the Vilnius cogeneration plant, and another 18 Czech nationals received permission to carry out the dismantling of chimneys for Ignitis Gamyba. Two Ukrainians were allowed to come for work at Amber Grid's gas transmission pipeline systems.

Two Russian nationals were allowed to come for ship inspection and repair and modernization maintenance works in the port of Klaipeda.

Some of the foreign nationals will arrive this year and others by August 2021.

All of them will have to go into isolation for two weeks.
