Ex-MP knew about investigation into child sexual abuse before resigning

Former MP Kristijonas Bartoševičius was aware before resigning from parliament that he would be indicted over suspected sexual abuse of minors, news website delfi.lt has reported.

The news website has learned from its sources that the politician knew about the ongoing pre-trial investigation. However, individuals interviewed by Delfi did not say who might have revealed this information to the now former legislator.
