EU foreign ministers met with Garry Kasparov in Brussels

On 20 February, at the initiative of Lithuania and Poland, an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the European Union and the representative of the Russian opposition Garry Kasparov took place in Brussels, stated he Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“This meeting aims to hear directly from representatives of the Russian opposition what they are prepared to do to drive change in Russia and what EU support for democratic Russia would be most useful,” Landsbergis said after the meeting.
