"There's not a single country in the EU that is satisfied at the moment and says that we're happy with the vaccine supply schedule and quantities. Everyone expects more," he told reporters.

Earlier on Tuesday, the minister met with President Gitanas Nauseda to discuss vaccination and other important pandemic-related issues.

According to Dulkys, questions about the supply of vaccine should be addressed to the European Commission which is responsible for coordinating deliveries to the bloc's member states.

Lithuania has so far received three batches of the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine, totaling several tens of thousands of doses.

Dulkys told LRT Radio on Tuesday that based on the currently available information, Lithuania should receive regular vaccine shipments every week for the next three months.

The BioNTech/Pfizer coronavirus vaccine is currently the only one authorized for use in the EU.
