Democrats For Lithuania expect to be represented by 10 mayoral candidates in runoff voting

MP Saulius Skvernelis, leader of Democrats For Lithuania, projects that ten of the party’s candidates might advance to the second round of mayoral elections scheduled for 19 March.

He told reporters on the election night on 5 March that Democrats For Lithuania, a party established a year ago, ran in the municipal race in 49 out of 60 municipalities and nominated 48 mayoral candidates.
