Defense Minister expresses lasting support to Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration during trip

On 24 October, Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas underscored at a meeting with Minister of Defence of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze that Georgia was one of Lithuania’s most important partners among Eastern Partnership format nations and that Lithuania was prepared to continue the defence cooperation and step up the contribution to NATO programs as part of the comprehensive support to Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration, reports the Ministry of National Defence.

“We support Georgia’s path of Euro-Atlantic integration and we make comprehensive contributions with our experience and expertise so that the Defence Forces of Georgia are brought closer to Euro-Atlantic standards,” said Minister Anušauskas.
