Defence to be taught in 40 Estonian schools for first time this autumn

National defence education is set to become compulsory in Estonian upper secondary schools from this autumn. Defence education will be introduced to the curriculum in 40 Estonian schools for the first time, while in others it has already been offered as an optional subject, public broadcaster ERR reports.
