According to Rokas Pukinskas of the State Border Guard Service, some 520 trucks were waiting to enter Lithuania from Belarus at Medininkai checkpoint on Sunday after, and there were 620 trucks at Lavoriskes checkpoint, 390 at Salcininkai checkpoint and 290 at Raigardas checkpoint.

"A sudden drop in the number of trucks should not be expected as checks by customs officers take longer than ours, so it's not the case that the system is resoreed and everyone can suddenly driver," Pukinskas told BNS.

Movement from Lithuania to Belarus is slightly better as 110 trucks are waiting to enter Belarus at Medininkai checkpoint, 30 at Lavoriskes checkpoint, 20 at Raigardas checkpoint and some 90 at Salcininkai checkpoint.
