As it is said by the mayor, both patients came back from Austria.
All cases are brought from abroad.
Update: the Ministry of Health informs that in the afternoon on Wednesday there were 7 new coronavirus cases confirmed.
Besides cases in Klaipeda, there are two more people in Vilnius, one in Kaunas, one in Siauliai. The patients have been travelling in the United Kingdom and Sweden.
In the evening the Ministry of Health announced about one more new case. The patient is isolated in Clinics of Santara in Vilnius. He has travel history in the United Arab Emirates and had a transfer flight via Netherlands. Overall, the number of coronavirus cases in Lithuania reached 34.
On Wednesday, it was also announced about the first case in Lithuania contracted inside the country.
The quarantine stared on Monday in Lithuania.
