"We have 14 social care establishments with at least one case," Ginreta Megelinskiene of the NPHC, told a press conference today.
The latest cases have been established at a nursing home in Antaviliai on the outskirts of Vilius where 11 residents and four staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus. Also, 22 patients and five staff members have been found to have the virus at a nursing home in the town of Kartena in the western district of Kretinga.
Earlier, two cases were identified at two establishments in Anyksciai District and in both cases staff members were diagnosed after undergoing preventive tests.
All precautions have been taken at these establishments and the staff members were isolated in time, Megelinskiene said.
