In her words, some 100 Seimas members are now vaccinated against the virus or plan to do so, and testing will show how many MPs have immunity.

"Around 100 Seimas members are vaccinated or plan to get vaccinated. (…) We are organizing antibody tests on Thursday and they will allow knowing more specifically how many of them can work safely," the Seimas speaker said on Tuesday.

She pointed out that testing would be voluntary and urged lawmakers to actively participate.

Lithuanian lawmakers, government members and heads of state were put on the vaccination priority list and received AstraZeneca jabs to promote trust in this controversial vaccine.
