Conservative MP proposes lending some howitzers to Ukraine

Seeking to guarantee both Lithuania’s security and constant provision of aid to Ukraine, Chairman of the Seimas Committee on National Security and Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas proposes to consider lending out some of Lithuania’s PzH 2000 howitzers to Ukraine.

“More than 200 howitzers transferred by the West are operating in Ukraine. Their destructibility is low, the howitzers are self-propelled, they fire at a greater distance than the Russian ones, which means that their survivability percentage is huge,” the Conservative MP told the news agency ELTA.
