Coalition addresses ex-PM on Stončaitis

On Monday, chairs of all the political groups of the ruling coalition in the Seimas addressed leader of the party Democrats For Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis asking him to answer certain questions concerning MP Algirdas Stončaitis, former Government chancellor who is a member of his party.

“We, chairs of the three political groups, are addressing Skvernelis with a request to answer questions related to the working together as head of the then Government with Stončaitis as the then chancellor and his reliability, as well as Skvernelis’ alleged making of contact with officers of the State Security Department (VSD) on Stončaitis, as well as a permit to access classified information and circumstances under which he obtained the permit,” ELTA was told by Chair of the Conservative Political Group Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė.
