Berzinskas is assuming his new position on Friday and will be in charge of cooperation with regional media and the project "Lithuania's Power".

Berzinskas has ten-year experience of working for regional national media outlets and has worked as an adviser for environment, finance and interior ministers, as well as a communication adviser to the speaker of the Seimas and prime minister.

Meanwhile, Stanaityte-Cesnuliene is leaving as head of the communication group on February 16, the public broadcaster LRT announced on Friday.

"I decided to change the direction of my career. I am grateful to the president for his confidence I have felt since the very beginning, and also to my team for joint work and unity," she told BNS.
