Bomb threat was made against parliament

A bomb threat was made against the Parliament of Lithuania on Tuesday, but police officers who searched the area did not discover anything suspicious and the building was not evacuated.

“At 11:37 a.m. a threat was received that the Seimas will blow up within two hours. The person did not introduce himself. Officers arrived at the scene, spoke to security guards, checked the perimeter of the area, but did not find anything suspicious,” Julija Samorokovskaja, Head of the Communications Department of Vilnius County Police Headquarters, told the news agency ELTA.
