On Saturday there were 1239 COVID-19 cases detected in Lithuania. The Ministry of Health announced about 90 new cases in one day. It is the highest records in one day so far in the country.

52 patients are from a small town Nemencine that is on lockdown at this moment. The spread of virus started in "Vilnika" plant. 40 out of all new cases were recorded in the hospice care centre in Klaipeda.

So far, 33 people with the coronavirus have died in Lithuania.
