78% of Lithuanians say economic situation deteriorated

Only 1% of Lithuanian residents think that the country’s economic situation improved recently, while as many as 78% feel that the economic situation has deteriorated, a poll published by the news website Delfi shows. The respondents were also asked how their household’s financial situation changed and 24% of them said it has deteriorated.

The representative poll of Lithuanian residents about their economic sentiments was carried out by the pollster Baltijos tyrimai on 12-28 July and was commissioned by the party Democrats For Lithuania.People were asked whether the situation in Lithuania was improving or deteriorating in general. 72% of the polled said the situation was deteriora
