Lithuanians are very willing to help others as 79% of the country’s population said they donate or give aid to someone at least once a year. This year, Ukraine has been that someone most frequently, with a larger share of Lithuanians than Latvians and Estonians focusing on helping this country, a survey carried out by the If insurance company shows.

The survey revealed that the majority (67%) of the Lithuanian residents tend to donate occasionally. Another 5% have set up automatic payments from their bank and 4% usually donate in December. One in five people said making no donations at all.
