Electric vehicle charging stations mounted on light poles have been introduced in Vilnius

Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations mounted on light poles have been introduced in Vilnius. Nine such EV charging stations were launched on 14 October and 100 more will be unveiled by the end of 2023 to promote the use of electric cars.

Vilnius City Municipality plans to increase the number of such EV charging stations to 2,000 by 2030, but the number could double if EU funding is secured.
